Dementia Sensory Room
We opened our sensory room on first floor for people living well with Dementia.
At Shipston Lodge, our sensory room is a haven of therapeutic tranquillity. Designed with the utmost care and understanding of our residents' needs, this space offers a harmonious blend of stimulating visuals, soothing sounds, and tactile experiences. Whether one seeks the calming rhythm of projected waves, the gentle glow of fibre optic lights, or the comforting texture of sensory cushions, our sensory room promises an immersive experience. It's a place where residents can engage, relax, and reconnect with their senses, enhancing both their emotional and physical well-being.
The Lions and Rotary Club Event
We are holding another event for the Lions and Rotary Club on the 10th December 2023 “2pm-7pm”
We are bringing the local Christmas Market at Shipston Lodge nursing Home for our Residents and their family
We will have a marquee in front of the home, 40 local stalls, bouncy castle and face painting for kids, lots of food and drinks, Lions club and Rotary club supporting us.
Local Lions Club Event
We recently held a charity event for our Local Lions Club and have donated £5000.00 for the food bank.
